The National Foundation for the Deaf is a non-profit, non-government organisation. Our work is funded by the generosity of the New Zealand public, through donations, grants and bequests.
Over 700,000 New Zealanders are deaf or hearing impaired, making it the largest disability group in the country.
We invite you to support us through one of the following options. A tax-deductible receipt will be issued for all donations.
Make an immediate, secure online donation by credit card.
You can also use this method to set up a regular donation.
NOTE: If you would like your donation to be allocated to the Solomon Islands Project, select it in the drop down menu on the second page of the online donation form.
Call our Freephone 0800 867 446 to donate an amount of your choice. Please have your credit card details ready.
Or, you can call 0900 666 20 to donate $20 immediately. $20 will be charged to your phone bill.
The Foundation regularly runs telefundraising campaigns, and we have prepared a list of answers to many of the commonly asked questions about our telefundraising.
Please include your name and address so that we can send your receipt.
Remembering us in your Will is a lovely way to ensure a lasting impact on future generations of hearing impaired New Zealanders.
The majority of people who remember the Foundation in their Will come from ordinary backgrounds and are not by any means wealthy individuals. No matter what we receive, gifts left in people's Wills are invested prudently to ensure the long term future of our work. It is our responsibility to you.
Please take the time to read further information on leaving a gift in your Will or download our bequest information sheet, which includes suggested wording for your Will.
If you have already made provision in your Will - thank you! Please let us know, as we would like to send you our thanks in writing.
